N-topos has designed, developed, built, supported and run the navigation and controlling technologies of the TRAM of Athens which was built for the 2004 Olympic Games. The Total of the project was of 8,5 million euros and it is fully operational since August 2004.

The tram project comprehends a telematics and fleet tracking system, running under "Dimetra" the Motorola's Tetra network, a SCADA system, a passenger information system, a SMART-STOP system, an intelligent traffic light priority system, a wireless switches activation system and the OCC (the Operational Control & Communications Center).  

The project also includes the servers, the RDBMS, the GIS and all the required applications and management solutions.

n-topos had a maintenance and expansion contract for this project until December of 2007.
